In November 2021, during Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival, tragedy struck. What began as a night of music and celebration quickly descended into chaos. As the crowd surged, panic spread, and the unthinkable happened: concertgoers were trapped, crushed, and left helpless. Overcrowding, lack of emergency planning, and inadequate on-site medical staff meant that lives were lost—lives that could have been saved.
The Astroworld tragedy was a stark reminder of how quickly things can go wrong when safety takes a back seat to spectacle. Ten people died that night, and hundreds more were injured. Many families were left to wonder: Could this have been prevented? Could faster, better-equipped medical response have saved lives? The answer was devastatingly clear. Yes.
